1: Will Halo 2 Vista still be playable online after july 2014?
2: after july 2014 will the halo 2 vista achievements still be linked with the xbox achevements? (for example, lets say i get a halo 2 vista achievement some time in september of 2014, would that new achievement be synced with my xbox achievements?
Honestly I am not even sure anymore. From what I have read around is that the GFWL marketplace is the only thing being truly shut down and any games that your currently have will still be playable. Though I do not know if the achievements will still be linked to your GT.
I really wish they would tell us in detail what is actually being shutdown.
Yes on private servers but i don’t think there are many,and it will be not so easy.
this is sure, no achievements, no stats, nothing. Like SSFIV that is now on Steam.

That is correct the marketplace will be shutdown, but GFWL will still be operational to link your achievements to your gamercard.

So if I complete the campaign on Legendary any time after they shut it down, I won’t get the achievements?

By the sounds of it, there are no plans to close down Games for Windows LIVE, so this shouldn’t be an issue.
