Halo 2 track in New halo 4 trailer?

Did anyone noticed in the new halo 4 gameplay trailer at the start you can hear the “Cold Blue Light” soundtrack from the Cario Suite from Halo 2. Its a bit slower this time in the trailer.

Halo 2

Halo 4 trailer (starts at around 0:03)

Edit: As what SoldierGryphon said It was actually first in Halo CE, a lot of you probably knew that I thought it was first in Halo 2.

I noticed that as well.

Well, they’ve gotta use a bit of variety.

I noticed it and got really excited, I love the tracks from Halo 2.

me too i think they are the best halo tracks yet.

Oh yeah, thats the name of the track, i couldnt put a name to it!

That Halo ring is beautiful.

I think it’s a segment of “Green and Blue” from the Halo 4 OST. It does sound similar, though. There are hints at the old music throughout the album, especially in the final movement of “117.”

Am i the only getting a word symbol image for the video link? Plz click, because it does not lead me to the video, but to a.bunch of symbols and stuff.

Yeah, on my mobile, it gave me a bunch of numbers, letters and symbols. It doesn’t work on the computer, so I’ll try to go back to that thread and use my phone. Hopefully it works again. Ur inbox is full

Edit: It doesn’t work anymore srry, but I don’t think it was anything that special, even though it only worked for the halo 4 link and gave a crap ton of mess…

That music didn’t originate with Halo 2. That was actually a track from the very beginning of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Bingo.

Still, it was awesome to hear that track in there. I didn’t realize it, but when I thought about it, I was like, “Wait… that was from Halo CE… for a Halo 4 ad?”
