Ok 343, stop joking around. I’ve recently got back into the MCC and Im resuming my skull and terminal hunting. I can’t tell you how many times I have found a terminal and , I’ve gotten no achievement for it. But worse than that, The terminals aren’t loading on the halo channel. Why?
When you say the Terminals aren’t loading Halo Channel, is it when you try to transfer from MCC to Halo Channel?
If you launch Halo Channel alone, can you access the terminals then?
Is it possible they could have unlocked in an offline mode? (ie: for some reason you were not able to be logged into Xbox Live)
Any info you can provide can accelerate my being able to look into this more deeply and try to find the root issue.

Thanks for responding to this mate. No, the terminal won’t load from MCC. It used to take me to the halo channel and then back to MCC without any problems, but now it says the terminals aren’t working. Also, their has been more than one time where I’ve picked up a skull, toy or accessed a terminal and i haven’t received an achievement. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the additional input… am starting my investigation and this will help narrow the test path a bit. As of yet I haven’t been able to reproduce this, but am going to dig for awhile and see if I can get anything!

Still unable to get this to reproduce… Unable to get the terminals to fail, or it to fail to recognize an achievement.
Have you unlocked Terminal 8 in Halo: CE by chance? If not, can you jump into campaign for Halo: CE, go to chapter 8 I believe (Two Betrayals) and immediately after the cutscene, run around the room to the midpoint where there is a terminal right there, and access it? It should pop an achievement (probably) and take you into the Halo Channel again.
If you can do that, can you give me the approx time, and results of that? Bear in mind I am in Pacific time with the rest of 343i/Microsoft, so if you can be specific with the timeframe of your attempt (if possible) that would help as well.
I have gotten all the terminals on halo ce legendary. They worked fine, for some reason its just halo 2
Ok, will continue to look into it, so far I haven’t had any success in generating failures… but limiting it to H2 will help in the investigation.

I’ve had a similar error, and if it is any help, I can give the specific details:
In this particular case, it was on the Sacred Icon level. Before finding the terminal, I’d quit and resumed the level once (revelant, since this makes the score appear as 0 when you complete the level - related problem, maybe?). I’ve just found the terminal, but when I hold X to view it, I get the following error (once the app had switched to Halo Channel).

Sorry about that. The content you selected can’t be played at this time.

No achievement was unlocked, either. Upon trying to navigate to the terminal from the home screen of Halo Channel, it says I haven’t found the actual terminal, and offers a link to find it in TMCC. I’ve tried reopening Halo Channel via the terminal and via the Xbox Home screen, to no avail; it still appears locked. If it is relevant, I’m playing on Normal, with the Grunt Birthday Party, IWHBYD, Pinata, Prophet Birthday Party and Sputnik skulls on.
I’m going to save & quit then try again, now. I’ll edit in the result of that.
EDIT: No effect. I’m going to try restarting TMCC, then doing it.
EDIT 2: After restarting TMCC, and continuing the level, the same thing happens. An odd occurrence though: when the Halo Channel logo popped up, a small black rectangle began flickering in the middle of the screen. Never staying for more than about half a second. I’m going to try restarting my Xbox. If that doesn’t work, which is seeming likely, I’m going to restart the level. This is looking more and more like a TMCC error, rather than a Halo Channel error.
EDIT 3: Same error, and same flickering. Restarting the level now…
EDIT 4: Restarted the level, and it did nothing. I’m stumped, then.
It’s not just them. I’ve had the exact same problem. The only difference between Dab’s and me is that I’m playing on normal on Cairo Station with no skulls on. If it might help narrow things down some then I have two things to add as well. First, I used quick start to start from the top. Second, the first time I tried Halo Channel itself refused to work. It said something along the lines of you guys’ were having an issue. After that I restarted my Xbox and opened Halo Channel up first, because it had been offline the first time. Halo Channel worked, so I resumed from where I was. This time I got the same error as Dab.
I’m having the same problem. The first two terminals in Halo 2 MCC work just fine but so far from terminal 3 to terminal 5 when I try and play them through both the game prompt and on the Halo Channel I get an error saying this content isn’t avalible. When I tried playing the terminals through the Halo channel on my xbox one and on my PC it says that I need to gain access to them from the game, in the game I have the achievement for finding them but it won’t let me watch the video associated with them. I’ve also tried replaying the levels to see if that would help but it didn’t do anything. Any help would be much appreciated. The exact error that it gives me says at the top “THAT’S NOT RIGHT, Sorry about that. The content you selected can’t be played at this time.”
Hi, I’m having the same issue with the terminals on High Charity and The Great Journey. I access the terminals in the game and get the achievement but when I’m sent to watch them in the Halo channel I get the message “That’s not right” the content can’t be played at this time press B to return to previous App. No matter how many times I try this message keeps coming up and I cant watch the terminal video and the video isn’t unlocked in the Channel as the only option on these terminals is Play Halo (access this terminal on the mission to view it). any help would be great!
Hi guys I’m having trouble on halo 4 terminal 3 it’s not loading up in the channel and it keeps on playing terminal 2 video instead of 3 and it keeps crashing

hightly frustrating as I have to view these through “You Tube” to see what the clip is.
I’m finding the silence that we’re getting on this very annoying. 343, this is a real problem. We can not view something we should be able to, and while several people have reported getting the achievements the OP and me can’t even get that. Is anyone even reading this?
Yes, it is being read, and yes, I am trying to reproduce this issue. It is still under investigation, and proving to be difficult to reproduce. I will have additional time this week to continue investigation, and may reach out to everyone in this thread to ask questions, etc to try to narrow down the issue a bit more.

I also have been having an issue with viewing the terminals in Halo 2.
I unlocked the first terminal when the game first came out in November. As I re-visited that 1st terminal that was already unlocked it allowed me to view it with no problem loading Halo Channel as it should load. When I got to the 2nd level( and 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, ect.) it gave me the achievement, loads Halo Channel, and shows “That’s Not Right. Sorry about that. The content you selected can’t be played at this time” appears not allowing me to view the cut scene.
When I try to view the scene directly through Halo Channel it does not show that I unlocked any of the terminal scene’s except for terminal one which I unlocked last November. Says I should play Halo instead of the play cut scene option. So possibly an issue with Halo Channel registering that I am allowed access to view these newly unlocked videos. I attempted to unlock the problem terminals around 0100 hours EST today.

Hey folks - Could you all do me a favor and either direct message me, or post here, but identify specifically which terminals in H2 you have unlocked (And let me know if your Gamertag is different from your Forum account) so I can start looking at individual accounts to match up unlocks with stats/achievements?
If you wish to be omitted from this process, please let me know as well… I won’t be making any changes to accounts, I am just going to look at the state of terminal unlocks, etc.
Also: For those looking to unlock Terminal 15, it unlocks when you have found all the terminals in MCC… I have to check to see if that includes H3, but I know it is H1-H2-H4 for sure. Terminal #14 is the bonus unlock for finding all of H2.
Also: If you have unlocked Terminal #14, but can’t watch any of the H2 terminals, please let me know as well. I am trying to find the common thread for the issue, and all the data I can dig up is positively helpful. I want to get this issue figured out
