Halo 2 temple of regret crash

If anyone has any idea on how to fix or stop this please give us a hand.

Problem: while playing halo 2 split screen co op on the temple of regret level.
1st time : getting off the last gondola on the way to kill the floating chair guy. Reaction: game went white and crashed to Xbox home.
2nd time : ran off last gondola and got to cut scene , end of cut scene stuttered graphics and crashed back to home screen
3rd time (not the charm): ran in , skipped the cut scene , beat the chair guy and white screen and…crash.

Any thoughts ?

It happens to me and my friend (splitscreen) in the exact same way. We have had other H2 crashes, but Regret crashes every time. So frustrating, especially since the checkpoints don’t save!
