I have been playing halo since day one. I love the multiplayer in Halo 5, but the content is definitely lacking in comparison to the previous games. I also believe that the current ranking system in Halo 5 is inevitably going to get some sort of reset/reboot (when and what changes is the question). Now there there are some sort of ranks, I love the competition it brings. But now that I and almost everyone is ranked ONXY in FFA, whats the point? It’s like I was placed in a 30-45 rank bracket and that’s it. I think they need to bring back the Halo 2 and Halo 3 ranking system instead of this crap.
What do you think? Let’s get their attention!

Okay, let’s say that your absolutely right about people posting too much about it. What’s wrong with that? How else does the feedback get to 343i? Enough people say something about it and they will at least consider it. So, did you seriously game in halo 2 and 3 at high ranking matches and have never thought once that they should bring back that ranking system?
o my god, stop expecting every single game to be like halo 2-3. Times change, games adapt, the ranking system is perfectly fine.
If you want to get out of onyx, you’ll reach level champion sooner or later. The rank system is great.
Tiered 1-50. Keeps the tiers we have now but each tier have a 1-50. That way you can stay with your tier and have a personal skill rank as well.

If it’s a new topic everyday that should tell you something. I don’t entirely dislike the new one, BUT the 1-50 is what a lot of people miss. After Reach disappointed me I stopped playing and didn’t bother to buy Halo 4 because I knew it wasn’t going to be as good. Everyone has their preference and I respect that it’s not for everyone. I for one, miss it a lot. I’m also positive I’m not the only one. If 343i reverted back to that system, I wouldn’t play other games.
I personally have no issues with the Halo 5 ranking system. Makes me wonder why people feel the need to cling to the past so much

Clearly you never got the H2/H3 experience when you saw a team of level 23’s in pre game lobby and thought “OHHH -Yoink- PROS!” Because the rank system and world leaderboard were so DIRECTLY and SIMPLY correlated that you knew your place in the world just by your level cuz you EARNED THAT LEVEL BY YOUR(YOUR!!) SKILL and just cuz you were level 25 and #3 in the world one day didn’t mean you could stay level 25 if better players logged on and took your lvl 25 ‘belt’, so to say. You had to fight to keep your rank at ANY level. This nooby bs platinum diamond rank stuff is a joke. 1-50 had cool -Yoink- emblems that you ENVIED when you got a peek at the next one. Every level had a unique logo and since you lost rank or gained rank based on the enemy’s level you played nobody ever really leveled past 30-32 BEFORE cheating plagued the whole experience. Its what we all want n those who dont just didn’t get to experience it n dont know what they are missing out on. Why not have everyone a champion rank n roster number n make them literally play “through the ranks” continually matching them with better n better opponents based on STATS until they can’t win anymore and find their world ranked SKILL position with similar stat players. And WHERE DID CLAN RANKED MATCHES GO!!! SERIOUSLY!!???!
