Halo 2 Specter please

Does anyone remember that four seat covenant vehicle called the Specter in Halo 2? It’s a shame that we barely anytime with that vehicle. I’ve seen it return in Halo: Escalation but I would prefer if it returns in Halo 5: Guardians. That would be the ultimate transport/combat vehicle, especially when you could boost with it.

Any thoughts?

Would love it if it was brought back, campaign was all about co-op and there’s a lack of it in the pvp. You get the occasional warthog team but other than that nah.

Spectre - Give it armour slightly better than a hogs. Make the turret accurate and give it fast moving bolts suited to anti-infantry, takes a long-ish time to overheat, fast fire rate, bolts required to kill infantry should be 1-3 less then a hogs turret because of the slower projectiles.
Sword Spectre, higher armour
Ultra Spectre, bolts deal normal damage and create tiny voids to hold units in place so they can be assaulted by the turret or other players/AI. Has higher armour.
It’s movement should be slower until it boosts. It can fit two extra players which is a small advantage over the hog too.

Wouldn’t mind the revenant and the brute stuff too like if the banaished stuff or even that chieftain from Escalation that was going to make piece with the UNSC and the Arbiter
Revenant, high-ish armour, good mobility, slightly higher fire rate than a wraith, small blast radius but high knockback. Three direct hits kills players, can ram lighter vehicles
Sword, higher armour
Ultra, now I don’t know if it should be like the wraith ultra (clusters spread forward) or to make the cluster spread like a plasma caster charge

Prowler, highest armour of the hogs and spectres. slower bolts but high damage, suited to battle light vehicles.
Pack Prowler, Higher armour
Prowler ultra, higher armour, fires explosive bolts.

Chopper, medium armour, pilot is highly vulnerable. fast-ish bolts, medium-high damage. can ram lighter vehicles. Change the bolts to have slight drop to reduce long range effectiveness.
Pack Chopper, higher armour
Chopper ultra, higher armour, stronger knockback from rounds, increase damage against vehicles with the ram

I’m up for anything that used to be in H:CE - 3 and that might come back now  so yeah, great idea !
Not sure about the balancing though, but yes to the idea of using those vehicles again

I want my spectre back.

I’d love a spectre that has something like a plasma caster turret

Spectre?

Sounds like great fun. I would love to see this happen. It might not stir things up but it might shake them up nicely.

Honestly, I would much rather have either the Revenant or Brute Chopper back. The Spectre seems way to similar to the Warthog to justify its inclusion (H2 took the easy way out to give us a Covenant 'Hog counter).

That said, if a variant of the Spectre (or Prowler) were introduced that had two operable turrets like the Falcon, then I could at least see it as more than a purple Warthog with an extra seat.

The spectre would be awesome to have back, it will be the best splattering machine for Warzone Firefight due to its large size, boosting capabilities, and easy maneuvering (or turning)

Imagine a warzone match. A spectre appears with two people as passagers with fuel rod gun going to the east armory.
