Playing the new snipes playlist… when playing halo 2 maps the hit registration is off… trying to figure out. Is it leading that needs to happen more? Seems even body shots do not register yet other can one shot. Thoughts?

Thanks. Was rather frustrated. I know I was getting head shots but wasn’t even registering a hit… I then started to see if it was any better to hit the body with same results shots not registering…
This is a known issue not just with the sniper, but with every weapon in H2C. 343 has hinted that their next big update will address hit registration, but has not said it explicitly. Hopefully that update comes sooner rather than later…

You were in the first game I got into BTW… Looked like you were struggling with it too… There was one on your team that seemed to one hit every shot… Maybe he was host! lol

haha thats too funny! Was it on Colossus? I’ve been doing ok in snipers except for a couple games on that map. I was getting blood-shots all over the place, but no kills.
Netcode is garbage due to garbage pc port instead of xbox port.

It was on burial mounds. … since then I have figured it out better… would love to play those guys again.

Yeah I know that is the root cause… sucks. Was looking for more lead the shots etc… found sometimes shooting above the head register better lol. Who would have thought shoot to miss and get the kill. …
It’s like we are forced to play that god awful Halo 4 game cause the shots register… The flinch damage needs to go in that game

Ahaa yeah i went negative on that but not too bad if i remember. H4 snipes has been good to me though!
I played a game on colossus before that burial mounds game and went something like 5 and 15… i hung my head in shame haha
