should halo 2 servers be turned back on
they will not be turned back on, obviously we want them to be turned on but they can’t be.
nope, bringing it back will be a lost cause, rather just let it rest in its grave.
a remake would be better IMO
Yeah i played H2 a lot on another GT back in the day, but cant prove it on my current one, and thus will never be able to earn the Halo Nameplate for reach. Which blows, kinda lol

Misleading title. Either way it’s not going to happen. The only way we’ll get Halo 2 back online is through a H2 Anniversary or H2 for the arcade. Basically “IF” we ever get Halo 2 back on XBL it will involve you paying once again. 
I’d be fine with paying again. I spent so much money on Halo 2 alone. I have at least 5 copies of Halo 2 for xbox and a copy for PC. The reason I had so many copies is because -Yoink!- made Halo 2 disks to self destruct after about 7 months.
Halo 2’s servers were never shut down, the whole of the original Xbox LIVE service was, Halo 2 is impossible to bring online.
Not impossible, but not financially feasible. Original ox Live was shut down due to compatability issues with kinects new online features and dashboard, apparently.
But at the end of the day it was really only Halo 2 that was being played online and it barely fetched more than 1000 players at peak time.
Halo 2 i my all time favourite online experience but the past is the past an I’m just want the current generation of games to be as good and well made as the old games.

Well in that case I must have removed my self destruct timer by mistake.
They could make an Xbox 360 port. You could buy it from the Arcade Marketplace.
We want them back but they won’t be back.

That fact that people arent getting is that it CANT be done. The servers are GONE.
halo 2 is my favorite multiplayer. but the servers probably wont be turned back on. thus, the need for a Halo 2 anniversary.
