Hey 343 studios! I just wanted to no if you guys are remaking halo2! I loved that game so much it was my life if someone could find out and reply back it would really make me happy thanks guys!
XBL was a paid service that very few people used before H2. I personally got XBL just for Halo 2. Many of us did this.
XBL didn’t just stay as one of the top games for a long time like games now a days. Halo 2 was dominate on XBL for many years (number 1 for many years).
I hope they bring H2 back on the XBL service which it helped build.

I would defenetily spend that kind of money for Halo 2 if they bring it out, bring MP back in it, and the models not from H4. I would buy it oh and they should release it in Limited Edition as well with some extras like H2 came out in 2004. I would defentaily buy the Limited Edition!

It’s the nolstalgia and so called ‘‘perfection’’ of Halo 2’s multiplayer that blinds them and makes them believe it’ll make a glorious return.
They remind me of the crazy guys from the Dead space franchise, next to a sick obsession of something getting a ‘‘rebirth’’
NOTE: I loved Halo 2 as much as the fanatics but i’d rather see new times instead of the old ones.
Would be awesome to see this game remade and its Multiplayer remade as well. I would pay full price for that experience if they took the gameplay and didn’t change it a SINGLE bit, and just updated the graphics and sounds. Hell even if they literally just re-released that game with no updates I would still pay full price for it if the online multiplayer was there.

You are full of crap. We want H2 back on Live, where it belongs. Nobody said H2 will make a glorious return except you, so pull your head out and take a look around. We simply want the game of our choice.
Saying you love H2 is just hyperbole, you are one of the people who hates H2, plain and simple. Troll much?

Halo 2 is far from perfect, for example the ending. I look to have fun in video games. Halo 2 on XBL was fun. If I could play Halo 2 on XBL right now instead of being on this forum posting about it I would be.
Halo 2 embraced flaws and didn’t hide them, mainly because they had to. All the other halos didn’t take enough risks and were too bland (everything felt the same), they decided to hide flaws instead of making them part of the game.
I’m not sure but button combos in a shooter? Who would have known that they would become one of the most used and appreciated things in Halo 2. BXR anyone?
We just need to be patient I think we will get Halo 2 back on XBL. If not now or in 2014, then some time after this.

Because a lot of us hate halo reach/4, want to play the classics. I’d play halo 2 more if I wasn’t forced to turn on pc but I prefer xbox gaming more. Not everyone wants to be forced to play the latest game plus halo 1/2/3 had the best multiplayer/story.
i mean seeing as how “new times” essentially means each sequel just getting crappier and crappier it’s really not worth hoping that future titles will be any good
simple remedy is to make this game available to play in some format on xbl servers
i’m grateful for every h2 xbc game i get to play because even though it’s limited to customs against the same fifty people at least it’s actually a good game unlike what we have now
nostalgia is a term used way too loosely when it’s so easy to see how superior it is to this day
while i’m content with xbc as long as there are decent games to be had i’d rather not compromise my connection to xbl when the damn game could just be released as an arcade title
in the event that it does get released on xbl those who still enjoy the game can benefit from a population increase while not being forced to connect through an ethernet cable and a third-party program to find games
there’s absolutely no good reason why it shouldn’t happen
