Halo 2 Re-mastered OST

Imagine that Halo 2 Anniversary doesn’t come or does come either one.

Would you want the Soundtrack to be Re-mastered like with Halo CEA ?

I enjoyed the Re-mastered Halo Combat evolved soundtrack very much.
and it helped Tom Salta to learn more about Halo soundtracks before he made Halo SA.

Do you use the Re-mastered one or the original one when playing Halo CEA ?

As For Halo CEA: I do love the original, but the remastered version is played by the Skywalker Ranch Orchestra (A REAL ORCHESTRA not Midi), so I loved it very VERY much!

AS For A Halo 2 CEA: If it still is played by a real orchestra, YES, I WANT IT, AND FAST!!!

I actually didn’t like the sound of CEA’s remastered soundtrack. I’d much prefer a better orchestration.

I would like that but I would still want them to keep Steve Vai in the mix. He was a perfect fit for Halo music.

Was I supposed to read this comment? Was it for me? If so, I was just trying to say ANY orchestra is much better than cheap Midi instruments.

But yeah, I’d like to see a Halo 2 Anniversary soundtrack played by the London Symphony (if it ever is possible)!!!

Blow me Away, remastered, who’s with me?!?!?!

> Blow me Away, remastered, who’s with me?!?!?!

Yes please!

> Blow me Away, remastered, who’s with me?!?!?!

That would be awesome.

And if the ask Steve Vai to do another couple of Guitar solos that would be Wonderful !

It was directed at the thread in general, not anyone in particular. Yes, orchestration is good, but I like I said, I really didn’t like the sound of CEA’s music. It sounded very wrong; it was too different from the source material and I didn’t like the style. I definitely preferred the Halo 3-style of orchestration. It adapted Halo: CE and Halo 2 music far better than CEA did, imo. It may have been the fault of the composition or the orchestration, but either way, I hope Halo 2’s is an improvement.

Since you mentioned it… Blow me away was remastered. It was remastered with the addition of a female vocalist. It’s also one of the reasons as to why it can never be remastered again as Breaking Benjamin broke up partly because of that song.

Blow Me Away(ft. Valora)

Haha. Just played Gravemind again and listened to that as I fought Elites and Brutes. Halo could use some quality rock songs like this again. Epic stuff.
