i just bought halo 2 pc but it lags extremely bad i dont know if its my graphics card ( NVIDIA 9100 know it sucks im upgrading it soon but halo 2 reqires a NVIDIA 6100)or if its screen lag? if it is screen lag can someone help me fix it?
I can’t really help, but Halo 2 Vista seems to have been widely regarded as a very bad port in general. I have it, and it runs okay on specs that should run it well. It is infamous for being poorly ported.
ok i actually know a person that actually worked for the team that ported halo 2 to the PC so ill try and contact him

Do you mean multiplayer networking lag or does the game not keep up with itself in campaign?
If it’s the second one you need a faster processor.
If it lags in campaign and on the main menu screen that is how you will tell if it’s your pc itself and not the connection. Lower all of your video settings it’ll help a little bit. I have everything at the lowest settings and mine still sucks.

no i bought halo 2 PC so i can play online again since never really had a chance to as a kid and im trying to get all diferent types of halo games which includes limited legendary and PC editions
