So, I got a gift for Christmas yesterday, HALO 2 for the PC. Today I put the disc in and hit play and it asked for the Product key. I entered it correctly yet it says it is invalid.
I had an Xbox support chat with an agent and they told me to post here and mention my reference number is 1191379371.
Can anyone help?
The copy of the game must have been Used. if you have any Games For Windows Live supported Games. use that serial key and it will work.
Take it back to the shop. In the UK, you’d be entitled to refund/ replacement provided you have the receipt.
Though allot of shops seems to think otherwise until you quote some legal mumbo jumbo and then they back off.
