master server has been down for several days, is the game finally dead on pc for mp?

come on, i can’t be the only one who still plays halo on the pc?
343, what happened to the gfwl service for h2v? haven’t been able to find servers for a week now.
been off since 3/7/15 can still login to gfwl though, just can’t play online.

i’ve tried to contact 343 via twitter but they don’t respond to pc related tweets…:frowning:

I’ve noticed this too. Could be maintenance but more likely they’re trying to shut it down quietly. Oh well, at least Halo PC’s servers are still up.

They could’ve at least told everyone they were shutting them down. Hope they can put them back up…

I tweeted at Xbox support about it, and they said they are “aware and looking into it” Hopefully this will be promising.

I have no problems with them shutting the servers down personally, but it would have been fair to at least let the community know if they were, so people have a chance to finish up the achievements etc.

If they could put them up again, if only for a limited time, it would be much appreciated.

That is just their basic response. You could contact them about having a cold sore and they would respond with “Our teams are aware and currently looking into the situation”.

I really hope they don’t shut the H2V servers down because I don’t have an xbox and HaloCE and Halo2V are the only halo games I got.

How long will this be down!! I check at least once a week to see if they are up. I hope its not over i love halo 2 and i guess ill go back to halo 1 for pc for now.

Not sure but I thought fans were supposed to be keeping this up.
I suspect there just having some issues.
