So i got excited because microsoft annouced the master chief collection at E3.
Now i wanted to play Halo 2 again on my Gaming! PC.
i installed it got bugs with installation googled it fixed it installed it again.
updated the windows live stuff, updated Halo 2 manually.
im Running the .exe in compatibility mode for vista, and as administrator.
cool now its starting and ican play. HELL NO!
After 1min its goddam freezing everytime if ill play online campaign it doesnt matter u got 1 min and its broken. i googled it and im trying to get it working for like 6H. Now im done. please HELP :´(

Based on my research, it’s a problem with your video card. Just because it’s able to handle “better” games, doesn’t mean it can’t have issues with handling other games. I’ve ran across things like this before.
Also, if you replaced your PSU recently, make sure you’re using the cable that came with it, as I’ve heard it can adversely affected performance by not using the included cable. I’d suggest turning certain settings on/off in your settings for the game in your gfx manager and/or from within the game to see if any changes occur in behavior.

I agree. I had a lagging issue with my copy of Halo 2. It was a problem running a windows vista game on windows 8. Try updating your video card.
