As far as i remember there is no matchmaking in Halo 2 PC. Are there dedicated servers?
I always thought only custom games where available, but then again i never played Halo 2 PC MP much.

Players or Communities can host their own dedicated servers, and 343i hosts the master serverlist which people pool to find games in the list. But they are supposedly shutting it off sometime in June
That would be so sweet if halo 2 releases for more platforms. I will actually buy an ipod touch to play this if its true. They must keep Halo2 alive. It is my favorite in the series. I just started getting into h2v and the mods and features introduced by h2mt and others blew my mind. Stuff I never thought possible in halo 2. I really hope this can continue.
No, if you wanted to get into halo 4’s you would hack 343’s servers, as for halo 2V i doubt anyone even looks or updates it so it wouldn’t be that hard for someone who knows what they are doing.
