If anyone can direct me to a link showing how to download halo 2 and play campaign it would be helpful.

You can’t download Halo 2 PC. You need to buy the disc. Any other method of obtaining it is illegal.

Edit: I’m not sure if the cartographer project is illegal or not. My guess is yes as it is changing the game files. Be careful with that.

I know the guys that work on the project and they have 0 intention of doing any harm to your computer. They are just trying to make the halo 2 community great again. They have only edited the game for the better of the community and all of the files as explained in the install guide don’t have a virus or malware. They had to make you sign up for the site to download the game for piracy issues and will soon require to make a free account to play online with others. If you look through the forums you will see that they are good people. Other than that there haven’t been any legal issues.
