Ok first off idk why it made my subject in all caps but whatever. I was wondering why Halo Waypoint doesnt trach Halo 2 PC seeing as it is tracked on xbox live and has achievements and all through it. I think they should make the addition of this game in halo waypoint if not already planned.
I want to say 343i doesn’t like PC gamers, but that wouldn’t be nice, even tho it might be true. >.>
I think Halo was meant to be a solid Console shooter. However Bungie did make exceptions for the PC gamers. Right now let 343i focus on Halo4 and they might bring that to pc. Who knows…I kinda thought the same thing for a while and i play Halo Custom Edition and Halo2 Vista as well…

Halo started out on the Mac, and the PC for a small period of time before the Xbox, then Microsoft saw what Bungie was doing, and asked them to make Halo for the Xbox, and it’s been that was since.
I’m curious as well considering Halo 2 PC uses the same “Live” infrastructure as the other Halo games. I was actually surprised that Halo 2 PC achievements weren’t included as part of Waypoint.
Hopefully 343i will at some point in the future support Halo 2 PC as it is very much a part of the Halo family of games.

I agree. I’d love to see Halo 2: PC added in there; especially since the original Xbox Live service is no longer available for Xbox titles (Halo 2, specifically) anymore.
I believe a while before November, pictures emerged I think from the Waypoint Panel at Halo Fest of Halo 2 PC Achievement support, however these lack in the current version.

Yeah i know about that. It didn’t follow threw. bungie Changed there minds because it wouldn’t have blossomed the way it did if it was a RTS.
i watched O Brave world and stated what was on the video! I am glad they stuck with. It should be a shooter!

I highly doubt they will. Most people can’t get all of the achievements anymore…

Good Question, I do believe that Halo 2 Vista isn’t effected by the Halo 2 Xbox servers being shut down.

Are you asking about Halo 2 PC achivements?
If you are, there are achievements on the PC version of XBL where you play Halo 2 Vista online. Its little more enhanced then the regular Halo 2 with uniuqe achievements. It is also they only way to play Halo 2 online for now.

many people would have glitch issues with the achievements popping up and wouldn’t register.It has happen to 3 of my friends that own Halo 2 PC., i am not sure how many updates were on the PC version of Halo 2…I think i might look around on HBO or B.net to see if i can find out why.

I’ve been wanting them to do this for a long time. It will probably also boost Halo 2 PC’s popularity

I assume the same is for Halo 2 PC, certain achievements won’t unlock after a host migration, they do/don’t in Reach sometimes.
