tried playing halo 2 campaign with a friend last night who had never played it before. we were both stoked.
before hand, we had literally just beaten “The Maw” from the Halo CE campaign. well as soon as we switched to halo 2, bam.
i couldnt join his game and he couldnt join mine at all. what the heck is up with that?
anyone else have this problem?
anyone have any solutions?
this is the first time ive played halo in months bc of how terrible mcc turned out to be. microsoft, you done goofed, 343, get your crap together. its pathetic how yall are taking advantage of a huge fan base like halo’s. we paid good money for this poor excuse for a game.
Never experienced problems like that, run a check on both of your networks on the network check on the one or try again some other time. In general online co-op for the master chief collection is bugged. Just a heads up several of the halo 2 co-op missions are bugged. Regret game crashes either during the boss battle or at the end cutscene and on Quarantine Zone you and your buddy will get desynched into different game worlds with the other controlled by a dummy ai who runs to their death. Theirs more problems but you get the idea, but most of the problems don’t affect you for the most part when you playing single player.
You either get lucky and have a good co-op run or you run into these problems, its the luck of the draw. Nothing you can do until 343 gets off their lazy buts and fix this game.
I am having an issue with Halo 2 in MCC as well. I simply cannot load any level in the Halo 2 campaign.
It is very weird because I am able to load and play every other Halo game in MCC with no issues.
