For some reason, the campaign mode for Halo 2 specifically has no audio at all (but the audio in the cutscenes and menu works). The same goes even when I try to start any mission. Restarting the game and the system didn’t help. Re-installing the game didn’t. It seems like I’m not the only one who’s having this problem with Halo 2 according to reddit and other websites but none of them posted anything about fixing this issue…
Definitely not the only one. I’ve tried everything except wiping/moving save data and trying completely new

I tried to download a different language to maybe trigger something. That didn’t work…
I’m also having this issue, along with one of my friends. Needs a fix ASAP. no word from Microsoft on this?!
Update: I have a fix! I wiped my save data and booted up MCC (every game was installed) I cancelled syncing. It wouldnt go to menu so I had to quit out and boot up the game again. ut when I did, sound was back in halo 2. Checked all other games and they have sound too. All my data is still here as well so it looks like a save data syncing bug possibly? So far it’s working ok
343 does not care about this issue. They could have easily fixed it by now but they have chosen not to. Problem looks like it’s in our save data, find the issue, update our files… they don’t care. Problem doesn’t affect enough people so they won’t do anything about it, ever. You can have you save data or sound but not both, f@$# off seems to be what I’m getting from 343.
