It’s really difficult to tell who is who in Halo 2 non-anniversary multiplayer because the icon over teammates heads doesn’t change to what they have it set to and it doesn’t display the ID. This definitely needs to be looked at because it makes it difficult to call things out and such.
The color changes depending on the player’s armor color in the settings. While at first I was quite upset about this, I’ve come to just accept it. There’s too many other issues with the game currently. The issue is that the emblem that you make in the settings includes many new icons and backgrounds not originally included with H2C. So in order to add custom emblems, they either need to add a second emblem setting that only applies to H2C in game, or modify H2C to support all of the new icons and backgrounds. I doubt either will ever occur. It sucks but I’d rather complain about other more important issues with the game and hope those get fixed.
This happens in h3 as well. Annoying

Nothing wrong with making sure this issue is added to the list of bugs that need to be looked at.
I agree, and this is annoying.
