Hey so I’m on Sacred Icon on legendary and I’m up to the third piston. Now there is no Hold to activate coming up and no matter what I do I cant get the thing to move. Just honestly came here to rant cause I’ve looked at 5 walk-throughs in which they walk up to it and it works, but not for me.
Honestly trying to finish all halos on legendary and this is a massive pain in the -Yoink-.
Nvm, found out that bashing the piston about 15 - 20 times made it move.
I know this is old but I’m on this mission right now and the lights aren’t even active on the darn thing.

If you use dual plasma rifles, those open them up very quickly. This is also what technique alot of the speedrun/ walkthrough people use 
On Heroic and Legendary, the pistons can’t be interfaced with normally. You have to damage them.
