Halo 2 (MCC) Tartarus Fight Bug

Hi, we wanted to report a bug we found playing Halo 2 on the MMC during the boss fight with Tartarus.
First of all, for the whole fight every time we jumped down from the middle level to the lower level and then crouch, we instantly died. Basically, if you’re on the lower floor and you crouch, you die, even if your shield’s fully charged. Futhermore, also during the same boss fight, if a Brute (and I mean all of the Brutes except Tartarus who spawn onto the middle level without distinction) tries to jump down to kill you, dies instantaniously before he can even reach the lower floor.
We tested this bug in Legendary (the first time) and then Easy (second time) to check if it happens anyway no matter which difficulty you’re playing… and it does — both times we had Iron, Grunt Birthday Party and IWHBYD on. We didn’t test if this happens on Halo 2 Legacy or PC’s porting too though.

This happens in every version of Halo 2. I have Halo 2 on the 2001 xbox, on PC and TMCC, and it happens in all of those versions. Just dont crouch, plus it is useless in that fight

Hello. This is actually a legacy a bug from the original release of Halo 2. In MCC, it is important that we preserve original behavior like this as it has becoem part of the emergent gameplay experience which players have come to enjoy, despite its quirks.
