I very much hope 343 makes a smart choice and creates a community remake playlist. It would be epic to play on some of these maps!

but they wont because they need to keep their 15 free (80% forge) maps relevant.

Unfortunately you’re probably right, its a sad day for the gaming community when they accept a promise of free content and roll over when given volunteer made forge maps.

I’m sure they mentioned in the last community update they are working on community playlists .

Yes that is depressing to hear, I worry for the Halo community sometimes when this becomes the new standard for what some fans deem acceptable.

To be honest we’re all to blame, the culture of accepting and blindly purchasing at launch just encourages laziness. And we’ve all said they’re on their last chance before, after Halo 4 and the MCC and we keep buying. Buying the game and then protesting isn’t really going to do much, they already have our money, now they just need to keep us minimally satisfied until the next one comes out.
