so i was playing halo 2 on legendary and it was fine. then when i finished the mission uprising it said i only completed it on normal so i had to do it again which sucked. but finally i got to the end of halo 2 and it didn’t give me the achievement for beating it on legendary. i looked at the missions and it said all missions were complete on legendary solo but when i look at the achievement progress it said 12 out of 13. is this a glitch and will be patched or do i need to go back to missions? is there a way to tell which one i need to do because in mission select it says i did it.
I posted about this glitch as well. Beating it on Legendary but it was showing I completed it on Normal.
I went back and had to replay the missions on Legendary to update the mission information.
was it for halo 2? did you finish? and what does the achievement progress say?
Yes for Halo 2, No I did not finish I was pissed I have to replay the missions on Legendary I just confirmed it by playing one of the missions over again. However I did not get any achievements and I wonder if it is because the game thinks it’s because I was playing on Normal.

I beat all the missions on H2A on Legendary aswell, no achievement here or nametag either
the website does say I have only played on normal, does this have to do with the scarab gun ? it says it disabled scoring and time achievement it didn’t say anything about progress
Played through the last mission without the scarab skull and it doesn’t show up on the website either as played on legendary
This same thing just happened to me. I beat the campaign on Legendary with no skulls activated at all, and although the “missions” all say that I beat them solo on Legendary, I have no achievements for beating the game. I don’t know if I need to replay a level or something, or even if I do…which level. Will this be patched or will I have to beat it again?

Playing with the scarab skull active does indeed disable achievements. You might need to replay the final level in order to unlock the legendary ahcievement.
I have replayed the final mission without the scarab skull since you can’t kill tartarus with it, and it still didn’t register on the website

It is definitely wrong that you “can’t kill Tartarus with it”, because just yesterday I tried it and I succeeded.
I can therefore confirm that it is possible to kill Tartarus with the Scarab skull active on Legendary difficulty.

The achievements are glitched. An example my in-game missions claim I have done all the legendary runs solo, yet my achievements are half missing, while Halo waypoint doesn’t seem to register half the stat’s in general which makes getting the achievement for Halo 2 or 4 impossible at this time.

Nevermind, I just got all my achievements to pop and I only had to replay one level. For me it was Metropolis, but if you go through your “missions” Menu like you’re selecting an individual mission to play. Check that all of them (except the first two I think) have some sort of a score…even if the score is “0”. For me Metropolis had a “—” for the score and didn’t even list my name, eventhough it said that I completed it on Legendary. I played it over, and all my achievements, even “tighten up the graphics” popped. Hope this helps.
My theory is that I happened to be playing this level when XBL had that weird issue the other day.
Guys I figured out the problem already, those of u who are playing with the scarab skull on and accomplished everything on legendary…only have to play all the missions again…on easy, this is because u guys need the par score and par time for the halo waypoint to register, I am currently making my way to both co op and single player legendary, and have gotten the recognition when I completed them after easy…I was also pissed at first but don’t worry…u don’t have to beat everything on legendary again.
Bottom line, if u used 0 multipliers, just play the mission again and halo waypoint will register
Ohhhh and another thing… Do u get the legend achievement if u do the campaign in random, co op and single player modes, does it register when u play it on different “campaign platform”: split screen and single player??
