Halo 2: Keyship (The Lost Level)

If 343 decides in an unlikely event to give people compensation after totally fixing MCC, I think instead of making a new DLC mappack for Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer, they should instead make the Keyship level that was cut from Halo 2 using the engine for Halo 2 Anniversary. Because why not? It would be a large level, filled with terminals detailing Medicant Bias and would even have a Ghost run near the end. A small “We are sorry” from 343. Of course, i expect nothing but the game becoming fixed, but this could be a good idea.

Or add the Forerunner tank to multiplayer

They can’t they said they wanted to but had to take it out for the same reason that bungie had to. The level crashes the games and they said their was now way to fix it.

This sounds correct. Halo 2 Anniversary is just a reskin, so anything that’s too broken to work in the old game is too broken to work in the new game.

yea they said that when Halo 2 was transferred they tried to keep it as original as possible including glitches etc… but they said some of the stuff just couldn’t be transferred.

I mean make the level from scratch. Make a new, better one thats bigger and better, using the engine from H2A Multiplayer.

Its true, I do recall in the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, while listening to the commentary over Halo 2 scenes they said it broke the game. However I believe it would be possible if the tried to remake it using whatever engine the Halo 2A Multiplayer stuff runs on. Because that is definitely not a reskin, and if it is its an entirely different reskin from the Halo 2A campaign.

Thats what i was trying to say. A whole new level based on the cut keyship level, perhaps including terminals about Medicant Bias, who was the AI in the Keyship.

If you actually read what i wrote you would know i DONT expect this to happen, im just saying it would be cool if it did.

I didn’t know I needed this until you said it…

Also, how about add the Halo 3 Anti-Air Wraith that was seen in the campaign to forge? The only way we can use that is to do the little glitch where you hop on, find the “sweet spot,” hold the “Use” button, and kill the brute.

Then it would fit the theme of the MCC perfectly!

As interesting as this would be, I can’t help but feel like it would be completely pointless.

I’d rather them focus on fixing the game.
