I’ve watched plenty of videos on have to get this but they aren’t detailed enough like if I die, I would have to restart the mission. Or if I miss a checkpoint, I need to restart also. Can someone help me?
Hey i recently did in the last of 2 days ago i did but still i figure it out what going on the achievement. If you want to get that skull achievement, then follow the method that i describe my basic. Follow the 7 checkpoint what recently you watch the video, but if you reach the checkpoint 6 in the top corner of the left look out on the left side of the jacket appearance shoot him down before it kill you because it happen to me when i realize that if i get kill by wimpy jacket then i won’t get the skull but still stay alive and listen cue the music while i trying to receive it. And slowly walk to the corner dark room but it must be said checkpoint and the skull appearance and that it you get the achievement. Also you must play on legendary to get the achievement to active work.
Ps:it will not won’t be respond the position whatever you did right or not it’s on randomly itself I know it’s nonsense but still if you the skull out the way then you must to survive jacket then i suggest you put the skull on envy because you be active camo won’t be seem easily by the jacket. Hope it help! that my strategy but don’t rush until they are 7 checkpoint it take time slowly that all i can tell you
Been trying to get this skull. Tried different things. Can’t seem to get it to show the skull. Tried both 7 check point and 3 check point methods.
Dos anyone know if this is supposed to be done on single player only or co-op as well? We’ve tried with no skulls and with scarab only.

Ok, will give this a try. I see he does a different path on IWHBYD skull and seems to be single player mode. I’ll give this a try. I presume co-op shouldn’t be problem.

I would do it solo to avoid any co-op players accidentally triggering a checkpoint or making a mistake
I never got the 7 checkpoints method to work. I found a Youtube video by someone called Blink if you can hear me (I don’t think the channel exists anymore, sadly. The video was posted back in 2006, I think). I got it in 2-3 tries. I have a game dvr of me following the exact same method in mcc, but it’s hard to explain with just the visuals alone.

I looked in and didn’t see anything. waited out side the closet. got last check point. Looked, nothing. Last trip over I didn’t look in the closet, waited for check point. Popped, looked in closet, nothing. Go to be something wrong.

It can be a real pain. It’s one of the more finicky skulls out there. Just keep trying. It took me a number of tries before it honestly worked. Try again and if it honestly doesn’t work, message me here on Waypoint and we’ll find a time where we can play together and Ill help you out.

Since you’re probably getting it in the MCC and not the original game, I recommend turning on the Scarab skull and killing everything. You will still get the skull achievement.

Seems like a lot of work for this one skull.

This is, in some sense, the same thing, but you don’t have the ability to revert to a checkpoint if the 1/7 chance isn’t in your favor.
Well I just tried that method and this one, - YouTube
I died a couple of time, however reverted to last check out on #4 then made it all the way thru with out dying. Still not popping up. Also walking slowly in to the closet after the check point. Nothing.
Any one wanna try and co op with me?
Seems like this is going to be a hard to get skull, have tried a few different things. Different paths. 7 or other check points. Mostly 7 check points are seen. Skull isn’t. Going to bag this one for a while. H3 cheivements for now.
It simply shows up 1/7 times. The check point thing is basically just mimicking normal game play. Dying doesn’t matter as far as I know. Just reset the whole game every time you get there and it isn’t there.

You can a get checkpoint in a certain place that allows you to not reset your game if the 1/7 isn’t in your favor. Look here.
Yeah the checkpoints don’t really matter at all. It’s mostly the 1/7 chance of it appearing when you trigger the checkpoint going into it’s room.
It worked on the 4th cp for me. This was only a few months ago. It’s basically random whether it spawns or not. My advice. Finish and enjoy the campaign, then come back to it. It’ll ruin your gaming appetite pretty quickly having to restart the level if it doesn’t spawn for you.
