Halo 2 HD: Not Just A Remaster, But What IT S

EDIT:

Feel free to take this topic down. No one agreed with the ideas, so there’s no use in trying to convince fans of what I want to see in a remaster of a game.

> Sure there’s an audience out there for it, but it really feels like the console gaming industry needs a game truly worth talking about to come out. This game would be revolutionary, possibly getting many awards in prestiege. These are just some ideas, but some that many would appreciate.

Yes, but it doesn’t have to come in the form of a Halo 2 release that, by your suggestions, wouldn’t be Halo 2 at all.

While I wasn’t a huge fan of h2 personally (not an online multiplayer person), if they do H2A I want it to actually be H2 (though with the split screen splitting properly, and legendary co-op not being stupid).

Remaking a game won’t be revolutionary. It’ll be seen as a different game trying to ride on a previous games accomplishments, more so than sequels already are.

I think a lot of people would consider H2A adding sprint, armor abilities, loudouts, and dodging a slap in the face.

Y’know what, this is a pretty fair argument. I was so caught up in the idea of a game getting new content shoved into it, I didn’t see it this way. Thanks. Someone feel free to lock this topic. I guess it can die.

Yeah, no. Halo 2’s gameplay shouldn’t be touched. That would completely ruin it.

Halo 2 A shouldn’t be tainted with Halo 4’s failures.

No. None of that in H2A. Add that and you don’t have H2A, you have an abomination that no one will buy because it would be like H4 which is the biggest failure of a Halo title. Halo Wars 2 would be better than adding that crap into the great game H2 is.

Sprint is not Halo. Loadouts are not Halo. Armor Abilities are not Halo.

Halo 2 is Halo. Halo CE is Halo. Halo 3 is Halo. That’s what Halo has always been and that’s how it should stay. MC saving the world like the original badass he is. He doesn’t need that other fancy crap to do it.
