Hi,

I’ve found a bug which appears to crash the Master Chief Collection every time.

Playing Halo 2 on split screen co-op, normal difficulty with no skulls on the Regret level. Right at the end when your in the temple and you have to knock the prophet off his hovering thorn the game freezes, you can hear the sound constantly repeating and after about 5-10 seconds the game crashes to the dashboard.

This appears to happen every time you have boarded his throne and have knocked him off of it, the cut scene starts to load then the game crashes. We have tried this three times and the game has crashed at exactly the same point every time.

Could someone look in to this?

I have a digital copy of Halo:MCC and the game crashes everytime I try to play campaign split-screen. It doesn’t matter which campaign, it always crashes at some point or never even loads the mission. I don’t understand how this is possible, but it is unacceptable. I was able to splitscreen before the patches, but now it is horrible.

I’ve not played the game for two weeks prior to 20/12/14, so maybe some recent patch is the cause. A couple of weeks ago I had completed all of the original Halo on split screen co-op, along with the Halo 2 campaign up to the Regret level, which now crashes in the same place all the time.

Yeah, I have been having the same/similar problem.

Playing Legendary split-screen coop, the game has frozen completely once at the Regret fight and then once right before the last gondola.

Any suggestions?

Every time I try to play co-op with my brother (any level) the game freezes and crashes and we have to restart from the beginning. We can’t even get through a level. We’ve been stuck on the arbiter and have restarted the level 5-6 times. Please fix. This is ridiculous!

Same here. First time was getting off the last gondola , second was at the cut scene right after the gondola. I’m kinda sick of doing these over and over

I hate to bump such an old topic, but this has never been addressed. I cannot play splitscreen at all. Whenever I log in another gamertag the game becomes unplayable, nothing loads at all. Is there any workaround for this issue?
