I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point, but the Halo Master Chief Collection crashes when trying to load up Halo 2’s Sacred Icon mission. To make matters worse, I was making my way through the Master Chief Saga Playlist and now I can’t load up Mission #20 (Sacred Icon) without it freezing and crashing. A few years ago I attempted this playlist and when I saved and quit after beating Halo CE, rejoining the playlist the next day sent me back to the second mission of Halo CE. Completely broken. From launch day of this game my friends and I had trouble playing Halo 2 missions as it would constantly freeze or disconnect us. It’s a real shame to see this hasn’t been fixed in 5 years. With only 28 achievements left, I was really hoping to perfect this game but I still can’t even play it.
Any advice would be helpful.

Game freezes.
Took it back to the supplier, was told this was a Microsoft software issue, put up with it or sue Microsoft for the cost of the game. Yea right.
Obviously I am not the only one with this issue. I believe if a company manufactures a product they should support there product, I should not be expected to deal with there shortcomings just because they are a big company.
.I don’t tolerate being ripped off by anybody. This is a tipping point for me and will, over time be changing everything to Apple or PlayStation . Furthermore if anybody asks I will steer them away from Microsoft. Sure I am the little guy and will never be noticed but that attitude is enabling Microsoft to tie there customers over a barrel and do as they want without even a please or thank you.
PS: Yes I re-installed the game.
