Ever since I got the Xbox One and the MCC, there’s been issues galore. Not like it’s been said, though.
Two major patches later, and things still aren’t quite right with my game. The major issue in particular is with my Halo 2 campaign.
I’d like to play Halo 2 coop with my buddy without having to be constantly dropped. I don’t even get past the loading screen before it drops me out to the main menu. My connection is fine! I’ve checked it, and the dashboard tells me I can play matchmaking without issue.
Only one time out of…5 attempts? Did I actually get to play with my friend, and even then, it was horrendously laggy. Don’t know if that was my issue, but we got halfway across the bridge in Metropolis, and I was dropped. After that, we couldn’t get a game started, with constant droppings still continuing.
Just thought I’d bring this to light while everyone is working hard still at 343 to get this fixed.

BUMP. My friend and I have been playing through each campaign and have had to skip past H2 as it won’t start and keeps timing out. We have just had to skip it and carry on. Each time we are online we try to start a H2 campaign before reluctantly starting a different one as H2 is our favourite, plus we want to see the new cut scenes!
We are nearing the end of H4 now and H2 campaign still won’t work for us after numerous patches etc. The OP seems to be having more luck than us as we never manage to start a game 0% success rate. There is nothing wrong with my internet or connection. Please fix as it was my sole reason for buying this game!
