Me and my friend decided to do all halo games on lengendary in coop. We finished halo CE yesterday and today we tried to start Halo 2A.
After many attempts, we found a way to play Halo 2A in coop (always lose connection if we put remastered graphics and music instead of classic in the options before launching the game)
The thing is its nothing like the other halo in coop. Each time me or my friend died, we restart at the last checkpoint even though one player is still alive. We can’t respawn.
Its f*cking anoying espacially in Halo 2 legendary who is known as the hardest Halo
Is this normal that we can’t respawn in coop like we’re playing in solo or its suppose to be like that cause it almost impossible ? Please tell me its not
Sorry for my english

It would be great if 343 were to hump on this and fix this feature, as the remastering of Halo 2 was the number one game in the bundle that I was looking forward to playing through again. But for now, we are unable to progress due to the buggy nature of this game.

Myself and my Co-Op partner also have this issue, is it not mentioned in one of the updates? It renders H2 Co-Op pretty unplayable. I’d really like a conformation from 343 that it exists and is being worked on. What with them having my money already and selling me a broken game…
Can’t tell you how disappointed I am at this ‘release’.
Halo 2 legendary has always had this respawn system since it’s original launch, it’s not a bug, it’s not glitchy and it’s not broken, it is just how Halo 2 is. Unfortunately your just gonna have to deal with it.
