I am trying to play Halo Master Chief Collection: Halo 2 and it wont load the co-op. My boyfriend and I both have an xbox one and the Halo Mast Chief Collection and we try to load Halo 2 co-op but it wont load. It either kicks one of us out or the entire game freezes. I don’t know what to do. Please help.
I’m having the exact same issue right now. Been trying to play 2 over live with my best friend all week. Every other game loads fine, 2 will lock up on the load screens and bump us both out.
Its nice to know that I am not the only one with the problem lol. I don’t know what to do to fix it.
This happens on local co-op as well with the very first arbiter mission. Regret mission freezes at the end when prophet dies and the cut scene is about to appear. I haven’t tried after the update though.

I was having similar issues. I was told that it’s because my game was installed on my external HDD.
Move the game over to the internal HDD and it should work. Everybody playing in co-op should have the game on the internal drive.
