So obviously people are struggling to find any games of H2C. Some supposedly aren’t, however I’d say the majority are.

Im a U.K player and the honest truth is I haven’t played a matchmade game of H2C in about a week. Me and my friend just sit there waiting patiently for like 10 minutes and then give up. This has driven us to H3 doubles, I always loved H3 but H2C is what we’ve been waiting for, what we long for.

This evening we finally managed to find some people to play some H2C customs with and it was the most fun I’ve had since this patch released. We LOVE doubles but obviously will take any H2C we can get st the moment. In my opinon there’s a few things 343 can do to better the situation for the H2C community.

  1. Merge H2C arena and H2C hardcore, splitting an already small population is damaging.
  2. Custom game browser, i know theres rumours in the pipeline of this being worked on but please if a 343 employee reads this pleaaaase prioritise this before the H2C community dissolves into nothingness.
  3. My final solution and some will argue that its not an good one but add H2C doubles to the playlists. YES I understand more playlists divides the population further but H2 doubles is a CLASSIC playlist and the 4 player limit should surely reduce the likelihood of failing to find games…

Look this isn’t a rant post at 343, I’m grateful they’ve put the time in to try and fix this, and I honestly don’t know if the problems I’m experiencing are 343 connectivity issues or the game I love so so much has a community that’s truly dying…

To anyone that has read this and feels the same way pleaaase drop your gamertags in the comments so I can still try and play the game I love even if it means customs…

I’m all on board for me merging the 2 H2C ranked playlists. I’d prefer they drop Arena and just have hardcore but maybe change the name back to arena so as to not intimate players from playing. What do you think about that idea?

  1. I could agree with that, but there is another way: combine H3 and H2 hardcore, which have a so small population, just like the MCC before the update.

  2. A Custom Browser is definitely needed, for every game.

  3. I would try this in a different way; what about setting team arena minimum players to 2 and maximum players to 4? By that way you will be able to find a match, while having a 33% chance of getting doubles, 3v3 and 4v4. There’s only one playlist then, so there will be more population; Right now it’s impossible to add even more playlists…

I’ll be totally honest with you man I don’t care which of the two styles they keep they just need to merge them! Plain and simple me and my friend can’t find games :frowning:

I really like number 3 that’s interesting but they will never do it, doubles for me is just so key because I only have one friend who truly loves H2 with me.

Regarding your first point I have to disagree both the games play so differently to have a ranked playlist where you can have either or wouldn’t work well. H3’s population is probably the strongest out of all the games on the MCC right now. H3 double queue is literally minutes. H2C I can’t find a single game :frowning:
