The problem I’m having is this:I’ve been playing split screen co-op with my friend and had no problems going through Halo: CE. However, once we hit Halo 2 Anniversary, some very odd things started to happen. First, the opening cinematic of the game was unavailable to us as long as we had splitscreen on.
From there everything was mostly smooth sailing until we got to Delta Halo, where the game not only refused to load the level, but every time we tried, the MCC itself would crash and take us to the Xbox One menu screen.I tried multiple things including reloading the game, restarting the console, and even uninstalling the MCC and then reinstalling it. Nothing worked. We gave up and tried the next level, Regret, which actually worked for some reason. We naturally assumed we were good, but then we tried to load Quarantine Zone, and once again the game crashed.
Though, yet again, we moved on to Sacred Icon and it worked! Again… for no visible reason!I have no idea what’s going on aside from the fact that all these issues seem to be linked to the split screen. I would like to be able to play every level in the game since my friend is missing essential cutscenes that explain the story. Could you please explain to me what is going on and how I can fix this? Or are we just screwed?Please help me 343 Industries!
