I have asked before but I have gotten so many different responses I don’t know which is correct. I am an SR119. I primarily play warzone because there is a lot of action and so many different things to do during the gameplay. During that gameplay I have picked up many halo 2 battle rifles so I know quite a few players have unlocked them. Is the halo 2 battle rifle only unlocked by REQ cards or is it unlocked by playing a specific game types or playing a specific mission in the campaign? I have to admit, I figured that my rank would have to do with getting specific REQ cards but most of the ranks I have seen that have that specific weapon have been players with their SR ranks anywhere from 30 to 60.
The Halo 2 BR is a Mythic Legendary loadout weapon you get from advanced or gold req packs. It’s basically a thing of luck to unlock it if you still have a lot of thinks to unlock. And the difference between it and the normal BR is that, from what I have seen and people test on youtube, it has really high bullet magnetism.
It’s a random drop out of a gold REQ pack. Just keep grinding and you’ll get it. I got lucky and got it around SR90
You unlock it like any other REQ card, you just have to get really lucky. It’s totally worth the hours of grinding warzone assault(since you get more REQ points here) You can get it at any rank, i think i got mine at like 100-110.
You get it in gold req pack. It just the luck
Max out your REQ collection before the special goodies come out. I spent a lot of money on Gold Bundles & played a lot of Warzone Assault to earn RP. Now when these updates come out the only things I don’t have are the new items, so I get them in quick order when I redeem my RP. At this point I no longer spend real money, just use RP for resupply & the updates. And while I like Warzone Assault, I mostly play Warzone now, since I’m not grinding away for RP for Gold & Silver packs to max out my collection.
Spend the money if you can. I got the Halo 2 BR & the Halo CE Pistol the day they came out by just cashing in my RP savings.

So it requires less skill and is more a case of aim towards someone’s head and you’ll still kill them?

More or less, a video I have seen was aiming right next to an enemy and they fired and the bullets went to hit the person.

It really is annoying when facing it in warzone. I guess that is why I want it so bad, lol
Oh!, the irony. I posted yesterday about the requirements for this thing and “low and behold”, I unlock it last night in a gold REQ pack. I love it! I wish it was customizable with the weapon skins we unlock but that’s no big deal. It truly is the “luck of the draw”.

Same here. I only get junk from Gold REQs lol
Im Sr 112, I usually buy gold but I mostly get useless worthogs and other useless things like that,
h2 br compared to h5 br is weird. They both have benefits and disadvantages compared to the other. H2 has more magnetism and quicker aim. H5 shoots slightly faster than h2 and has bullets closer to eachother when fired. If i remember right the h5 br should outweigh the h2 br but in my opinion h2 br is so much more fun to use.
Once you get it you probably won’t use anything else aside from power weapons I love it
I haven’t got it yet, however I think I won’t use it anyways, I feel I can play better with the standard br

if I clear silver reqs first, will i have a high chance of getting it when i finally start opening gold packs? I’m level 80 now, and only have 10 silver reqs left to clear

Yep the chance is increased,because all things you got out of the goldpacks are then Ultra rare or higher.

its all random with the Gold Packs. Just keep buying them man. I got mine at level 100, but didn’t get a DMR until 65
