I didn’t know it had more magnetism?. Just lack of recoil?
You can literally aim next to the person and your bullets will magically curve towards them. The magnetism is almost as strong as the sniper tbh…
I just wasn’t sure if it was worth using over the normal BR. It seems to be more forgiving in terms of error, but the normal BR has a higher kill time.

I’m still trying to get it, only to be able to shoot against a wall and get perfect kills nonstop. Until then: I will keep picking them up from corpses and feel mad because I don’t have it unlocked yet.
Topic: I personally feel it has significantly higher magnetism compared to the normal BR.

The H2BR is a beastly weapon. “Skilled” use of it is more about the right tool for the right job, not being technically skilled (though that leads to efficiency).
The H2 BR has a HUUGGGEEEE amount of magnetism, however, I feel like it’s rarity justifies that power.
Like others have said strong mag with halo 2 br. Its only short coming is lack of distance that a sentinel would have.
Think of it this way…
H5BR has bloom. When shooting mid range the bullets will spread, and it will usually land about 1 or 2 of the 3 bullets fired somewhere on the opponent’s body. At long range a standard barrel might land 1 or none.
With the H2BR, if ANY part of the opponent’s head is touching the middle or edge of the red reticle at mid range, all three bullets will hit as head shots.
However, as stated earlier, the H2BR won’t work well for long range, and will easily be beaten by a sentinel BR with long barrel.

But the H2BR comes out instantly when you press Y. So its really good for noob combos.
This is all really helpful info! I thought I could just use it instead of the br until I get my DMR out,but I guess not. 
If I use the halo 2 br too much I forget how to use a normal br
It is like if the br was a power weapon

Try playing from another regions - not bullet magnetism in BR or Sniper - hell, even if you hit the target, it may miss! Or even when you get behind the corner or cover, you are still magically shot.

As others have said, the magnetism is pretty strong so it is a solid weapon but the H5 BR can take it out if you’re skilled enough. Plus with the H2 BR being considered a “power weapon”, it makes sense.
DMR still reigns king over the H2BR’s magnetism IMO.
It’s really strong but somehow it honestly makes it feel weird… Like I’m way better with the H5 BR in most cases. I think it’s because of how “loose” the burst is… the duration between the 3 rounds per shot, is greater than the H5 BR’s, it seems like.
