In my personal opinion it would be a God-send if they remade Halo 2. I mean, it was one of the first X-Box Live games (also available on the 360). Allowing to be able to lower you gun online, duel wielding needlers (one of my personal favorites), and the outstanding campaign. I can’t say it was the best in the graphics department, but still the best.
What I’m trying to say is, it would be awesome if the made a Halo 2 ‘Anniversary’. Oh! I almost forgot. If they do make ‘Halo 2 Anniversary’, that would also mean the 10-year anniversary for X-Box Live as well.

I hope to God they make a Halo 2 anniversary identical to the original game with updated graphics better than Halo 4’s on the new Xbox expected to be announced 2013/2014. That way, it would last. I really would love to see Halo 2’s campaign remade in stunning graphics, it would make it much more enjoyable.

The time is now for us to let 343 know how we feel, they have to make up their minds within the next 6 to 9 months so we better keep up the chatter. The more the better…now. Let 'em know we want the real H2 back, not some phony knock-off.
343 will not announce their decision for a while because of H4, but rest assure, they are making up their plans now as to whether to even do H2 so we need to post about it.
NO NO NO! I LOVED Halo 2 as much as the next person but they sucked up the CE remake, what makes you think they will do better with two? My apologies, Anniversary had a beautiful campaign, but you saw how much effort they put into multiplayer. It’s 343i, they half–Yoink- everything (as do most game designing companies). Anyways, if they remake Halo 2 you people will next be wanting a Halo 3 remake on the next system. Where does it stop? Look to the future and stop looking back people. If you want to play Halo 2 either get Connect or Vista. You can obviously play Vista with your Xbox controller for those who didn’t know. Vista sucks, nothing is out there right now that compares to Live.
What we should voice is to not make the mistake they made with CEA. That in itself split the community, the very thing they said they didn’t want to happen. They should either put up or shut up, no nonsense about the ‘split the community’ crap. If they give us a phony H2MP like CEA, then there will be a long lasting rift…millions played H2 at one time and those people are still alive and are probably still paying customers, 343 better watch it.
We should all (people who loved H2 Live) voice the demand of original H2MP or they should not bother making an insult. The sales of CEA were not huge, good but not huge, do they really want that? If H2 is remade so it’s really H2MP, people will buy it and whatever new Halo is out at the time. I don’t think sales will suffer one bit, I will just play both and there’s no split in that. 343 can have their cake and eat it to but if they screw up H2MP, the cake will be thrown in their face, imo.

I definitely want them to redo Halo 2 like the did with Anniversary. Don’t change the game, just update the graphics and sound to 360 HD levels. Adding the terminals and skulls was also a lot of added fun since I played the original Halo through so many times that these extras definitely had me coming through again. Just make it pretty and sell it for a cheaper srp like Halo Anniversary.

What, that we should be satisfied with Vista or kai or connect, is that what you are trying to get through to us? Just say nothing? That’s what happened to the CE people, they didn’t know it was going to happen until it was too late.
What are you guys trying to say, that you love H2 so much that you wouldn’t want to see it tarnished? It really doesn’t sound to me like you love H2, it sounds like you don’t like H2. If enough people speak up, 343 will listen so imo I think we should keep making our comments that we don’t want the CEA type MP, we want Halo 2’s MP intact.
I’m kinda tired of seeing posts stating if H2 is remade, where will it end? As if putting the only Halo game not on Live back on Live (where it once was) will open flood gates. Reinstating H2 MP back to Live makes perfect sense, not to mention millions of dollars profit.
Yes, putting it back on LIVE does make perfect sense. Just, not with updated HD graphics.

Halo 2 the best Halo ever made needs to be remade.
For almost being 10 years old, Halo 2 had one the best envoriment experience and gameplay ever made in Bungie History. If Halo 2 was remastered just like Halo CE, I’d almost die to get the game. Imagen how sick the graphics would be, but also of better the weapon sounds effects and look would be, not to mention the Covernant and Marine armour. It’d be even more better if their armour just had better graphics and details, instead of giving them the Halo Reach Elite armour. I’d anything to play the same old classic game ever since 2004.
I do see the issue with splitting the community but if you offer two different experiences odds are people wont pick one, but instead juggle both. Heck I still play Halo 2 on my laptop and I stille play reach
The only reason 343 never made the original CE multi player on XBL was
because it was never built for live so it would have taken alot of work and
man hours to do that and it would have taken away from halo 4 i remember seeing in an anniversary teaser.
