The Game will feature the original Campaign with all it’s features including an Xbox Arcade style version of its Multiplayer. With the Remastered and Enhanced audio, debugged polished game-play, and new features. But the Graphics and everything else remain the same. Although the Graphics do get upgraded to 745p with 5x Anti-Aliasing, updated shading and shadows and new lighting effects.
The Campaign will be exactly like Combat Evolved Anniversary. Where a new graphics engine overlays the original. 3D is enabled, Online Co-Op over XBL is added, Campaign scoring is added, All the original skulls remain an can now be accessed via Menu after their obtained but new skull’s are added in addition as well, Terminals have made a nice return, and the soundtrack, audio filters, Sound-effects, and weapon sounds are all completely NEW. Dialogue is Digitally Remastered and Restored.
Achievements, Title Update, and DLC support are all are added as well.
I think your spoiler should not actually be a spoiler and rather a big bold font that has flames around it. You’ll get quite a few people that will flame on you because they didn’t read it.
Now, a Halo 2 remake would be awesome with some dedicated servers.

Nah, that’s taking the easy way out. H2 Anny should learn from CEA.
That means:
-no exclusive preorder stuff unless they are eventually made available to the public
-no Kinect only stuff. At least provide an alternative for those who don’t have it
-no repetitious or dull tasks in achievements (i.e. kill 100 infection forms)
-no redundant skulls that take away from the gameplay instead of adding to it (i.e. Foreign and Recession)
-new graphics should fit almost exactly on the environment instead of being extra and go/see-through-able. The AotCR bridge jump is a victim of that
-no overdoing the graphics. Silent Cartographer’s island top is infested with a forest that impedes visibility. I’d hate Delta Halo’s top to become like that…
-more secret stuff and altering things using only graphics. For example, there’s a location with a rocket launcher on The Library that’s pretty much hidden behind a wall in the new graphics. It might not be realistic but I like it. Lens of Truth ftw! There’s also that marine on the top of 343 Guilty Spark. Now he’s facing a tree in the new grahpics. xD This kind of alteration is quite welcoming
-don’t reduce fog in either mode. That adds to the atmosphere
-terminals should not be placed in places of combat
-old skulls should be able to be turned on anytime like in the original. I’d hate having to restart the level just to turn on or off a single skull
Additions:
-more support for larger AI numbers. In other words, modify the game so AI (and vehicles) don’t get deleted if you leave the area or hit a loading point. H2 has the potential to harvest armies of AI but they get deleted and that’s just a disappointment
-bigger draw distance
-some fixes (i.e. Heretic Elites take damage when taking cover against a wall, the Scarab on Metropolis can disappear)
-night vision for sniper rifle and beam rifle
-Theater mode
-Legendary ending
-degrees of skull effects. What if we want to have enemies just a little bit harder to see by the player and AI instead of perma cloaking them completely? What if we want to have the Cowbell level of force instead of Sputnik?
Specifics (must return/be preserved/fixed):
-don’t fix the Honor Guard Councilor. Leave the appearance and shield strength intact. Although facing a Zealot would be interesting, they’re just not that badass. Unless of course, the shields of this particular Zealot become that of an Ultra and they regain their leap/leap melee capability. Then I’d welcome that change
-dead Elite minors on Uprising should be Councilors. After all, Elite minors don’t normally wield swords
-perma camo
-new skulls should be able to be picked up like in H2
Just for the note, there are other things and inconsistencies in CEA that I have read about on these forums and elsewhere but I’m not going to bother listing them. I think I’ve identified the ones that cause the most concern.
