I know that a lot of people have seen my original post of the Halo 2 Anniversary? Who Wants One, since i 1st posted it only months ago it has gotten a lot of feedback and traffic with over 400 comments and 14,000 views so it wasnt the average post. 343 I also made my thread the official thread for a halo 2 anniversary and is taking feedback from that thread on their decision for the game to be made. Now since I know that a lot of people are looking at my thread which is still on the front page of the halo 2 forums, I have decided to make a poll on if you do or dont want the game to be made. I am not getting into the specifcs of how the game is made it is just a poll if you want a halo 2 remake, anniversary whatever. Specifications on how you want it can go in the comments below. Personally, I would like 343 I to go on the same route they did with CEA with the same engine but with another engine running on top of it for extra graphics. Multiplayer could be the same multiplayer because halo 2 has net-coding but it doesnt matter to me if they are halo 4 maps since i never played halo 2 online. Thank you

Meh, I don’t really care. I love Halo 2, it’s probably my favorite game ever. But I don’t really want a new one with just some fancy graphics if I can just play the original Halo 2 right now.
The only thing you had to do was edit the original thread, and make a reply to it. You really didn’t need to make a new thread about the same topic.

I would love a halo 2 remake. I really liked what they did with CEA, especially the terminals.
We need a Halo 2 Anniversary! I mean if 343 made a Halo CE Anny why not A Halo 2 you know what I mean?

yes 343i said that on page 6 comment 3 but took it down (IDK why) but they talked about the forum more on this page. Im pretty shure it was because they sorta gave the wrong idea in the comment and people (like me) thought they made it an official thread. just look for the comments from the admins

Halo CEA was a gift, they remake a sequel, it’s not gonnna work out, Halo 2 did not start the series, I don’t care how popular it was, it’s a sequel.

You don’t have to say it any more times. That is one opinion, my opinion is H2 launched with the 360, it took Live to places MS only dreamed about and it’s the only Halo game not on Live anymore. PC is a joke and doesn’t count and neither does Kai or Connect.
CE was not a gift, nothing’s a gift if the people giving it to you will make money. MS wanted to rake in some money, that is why it was remade. To say it was a gift is a joke.

YES! A Halo 2 Anniversary is a great idea. bring back all of the maps, including all of the DLC maps. Terminal was one of my favorites. It needs Enhansed graphics, and the same structured Multiplater of Halo: Reach but with more options, like a specific race catagory, and others like swat.
Halo 2 was the first halo game I played. I didn’t have live and did not play the campaign but I would always play rockets on lockout with my brothers. about 3-4 years later I played the campaign and I loved it. It would mean a lot to me if this game was remade since it started my halo life so yes, Halo 2 remake all the way.

Because I don’t think a remake is worth THAT much. I’d want a deal to get them both for less.
Just got done playing the early unpolished Alpha build of the game… I must say… WOW!!!
Halo 2 anniversary would be epic!! my only problem with it is how long it would take to make. Also it needs its own multiplayer no Reach crap (don’t get me wrong i love Reach but), anniversary needs multiplayer. I mean multiplayer is half of the fun. Physics are good for Halo 2 you can keep them

Is this really real or did you make it? It looks convincing, but there have been fakes before; remember those Halo: Nemesis photos? Those were both fake. Just curious.
I especially want a Halo 2 anniversary since I began the Halo series with Halo 3. When I started the game, I didn’t have that much excitement because I was not familiar with the story at all.
