You can’t say that halo 4 (and so H2A) have bad graphic. Maybe you don’t like that kind of graphic, at the most. If we have to talk about how a game looks, we can also talk about halo 3… Spartans and elites seem to be made by rubber or plastiline. Or we can talk about halo 5 graphic. It is really honed and in many parts there aren’t detailed textures… Just compare “guillottine” map with “braekneck” map of Reach, for example. The first one looks so much honed, the second one is really detailed and more realistic. Halo 2 has almost the same graphic of Reach but improved

I really like your reply and that’s the way to talk objectively about what I wrote in this topic. Yes, unfortunately there is a lack of maps, they should give us all the h2 maps we knew and not just a half of them. But I’m sure they’ll do it. An update for H2A is coming, so it means they are still working with it
Dude don’t try arguing with the purists, they’re as delusional and in denial as Sony Ponies are on a regular basis. I for one agree that H2A is underrated and imo Halo 3 is VASTLY overrated.
Nobody plays H2A because nobody wants it or likes it.
MCC is mostly old school halo fans who know what they like and will thus play CE-3 exclusively.
H2A isn’t classic Halo and it’s definitely not H2C, H2A is Halo 4 but with no loadouts or sprint and added dual wielding. It’s mechanically bad and has no real depth to the combat, guns are braindead easy and it lacks the raw visceral feel of H2C to make up for that.
TLDR H2A has no fans because it’s not a good game.
This is factually incorrect. I play MCC for H2A, Reach, and 4. Namely because I find the classic Halo games just too damn slow paced.
I’m more so talking about the art style.
You cannot deny the art style of Halo 4 and 5 are an eyesore. It’s cluttered, overdesigned, and gaudy. Halo 2:A MP’s art style closely resembles Halo 4 and that makes it just irritating to look at.
And you are in the severe minority.
And those games are significantly better than the others. Also did you know classic Halo is faster than modern Halo since maps aren’t scaled up for sprint.
It’s funny how you all like inaccurate games like H2C and Halo 3, and when a game is accurate in mechanics and gameplay you all say is a sh**. Don’t deny H2 C and H3 are inaccurate. Weapon consistency is bad, also the aiming is bad… Unregistered br shots (and not only br) from a long distance and that’s crazy. I always have 30 - 40 ping and when I play H2C or H3, despite good aiming, shooting and weapons feel inaccurate if you aren’t really close to the opponents. So many times I went in theater to watch better what happens, and this is the truth… From a long distance, only 2 of 3 br shots get registered on the opponents. The third doesn’t affect them. It feels like the more a game is having issues, and the more you like. Weirdly, all of this weapons and shooting issues are absent in H2A. But hey, it is made with H4 engine so it is trash. That’s not an objective reply
It’s not accurate in mechanics or gameplay it’s hand holding. Halo 4 was designed to be very easy to play and this was kept in H2A.

How is this relevant? what about average time to engagement and engagement time in normal gamemodes?
I had a few space sodas, jumped in to H2A. Killing frenzy, the 10 shotgun thing. But your point about hand holding is wrong(Sarcasm because apparently we are saying it now;) This is about an achievement they can’t get, or like that genius who doesn’t understand cosmetics. ![]()

Considering the very high aim assist and bullet magnetism combined with things such as hitmarkers you end up with a game that hand holds very hard.
I can definitely appreciate this notion. I didn’t realize how much 5 and then especially Infinite deviated from the core gameplay, but 343’s H2A feels much more classic which shows it can be done. Great art style and overhauled maps as well. Just needed more of them. Wish current Halo felt like this with a thruster, Infinites equipment or something small,
Totally agreed with you. Was hoping you watched Archer. Online interactions don’t convey sarcasm. (Space sodas meant beers) I’m a mediocre player, however in H2A I can get a Frenzy, 10x shotgun, etc all because I got the Predator knock off cloak and know how to jump.
H2A is my favourite mp suite it has the best sandbox in halo imo. But lacks content.
A shame really.
But also sad they dont have the campaign assets as an option for H2classic.
Over all i think H2A suffered from launch day issues a small map pool and sharing a disc with halo3

I had 60K kills and 24K deaths in H3 at xbox 360 times, and about 72% of games won. Also 47 in lone wolves without being helped by friends like many did. You are saying “skill issue” to the wrong player, trust me ![]()

A 47 in LW is not good enough when MCC is down to players on the two extremes - totally new and veterans.
Also, I’m excited for H2A to get so much content - because nobody is going to play it and this thread is going to continue.
I really enjoy h2a when im not getting absolutely destroyed 99% of the time, or have a team thats actully playing the game.
I like the way it feels and looks a lot more than the rest.
I love the maps, guns, and everything.
I don’t play it often because I get wrecked almsot every game.
