I was browsing Halo Wiki when I stumbled upon these. They appear to be Halo 2 Anniversary screenshots! Before you say “No there Halo CEA screenshots!” look closer. There are ODST’s, brutes, A red plasma rifle, and John is wearing the MK 6 Armor. None of that was in Halo CEA. I know they dont look “spectacular” but neither did the first CEA pictures. Here ya go.
Once again, they’re Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary MOD’s. I worry for the creator of this thread if he cannot tell the diffence between the two games …
This is modded content and that is not allowed to be posted on the forums. Also the title is misleading and should be changed.

As some have stated already, that is a mod to Halo Custom Edition being developed by a modding team named “Custom Mapping Team”. Definitely not Halo 2 Anniversary. 
Also, modding discussion is allowed for Halo PC. Modding Halo PC does not break any Teams of Service at all like it does for the Xbox versions of the games. However, this is off-topic to Halo 2 due to it being Custom Edition.

Technically, Ghost, it is Mark VI. The “SPv#” campaign maps don’t fit in with Halo canon. I do believe they did model the armor after Mark VI.
@As7raios: OMG that mod looks amazing! Too bad it was not for Halo 2 for Windows Vista. I do not mean to go off topic here but why do more people mod for Halo: Combat Evolved Custom Edition than Halo 2 for Windows Vista?

As a long term player of Halo PC and CE (that’s Custom Edition), I must say that CE (so Custom Edition, the true CE) is much more mod friendly than Halo 2 Vista which was really a step backwards.
Like the guy said above me, Halo 2 Vista sucked for doing this sort of thing. In fact, most of the PC community outright hates Halo 2 Vista. It’s a shame they didn’t do a proper porting job with it and gave us tools that were at least as good as the previous ones.

They’re not “Fakes”. These are all taken with the intention of promoting a mod for Halo Custom Edition. People who don’t think enough to read text directly below the images go “OMFG HALO 2 ANNIVERSARY IZ FO REAL”.
Your best bet for a halo 2 remake would be using the halo 4 engine on the tenth anniversary of halo 2 which would be 2014, If It doesn’t happen then it will never happen
The assault rifle isn’t even in Halo 2. And Halo 4 screenshots being leaked are more believable than this thread.

Okay… Look… What I’m saying is that the actual screenshots were not taken as “fakes”. They were taken to promote SPv3 for Custom Edition. They are not even “Halo 2 mods” like you’re claiming. This mod has nothing to do with Halo 2, and to be blunt, this guy was a moron to even think for a second they meant Halo 2 Anniversary when there was nothing pointing to the fact it was. Not fakes, just moron.

A “fake” is when someone tries to make an image that attempts to look like something legitimate when it’s actually not. Yet again you’re showing you know just as much as the OP. It’s not a “Halo 2 Mod”, it’s an entirely new campaign mod for Halo Custom Edition that does not try to replicate Halo 2.
