I am wondering why Halo 2 anniversary isn’t available on the xbox 360. Maybe some of us don’t have the xbox one yet. There are still a ton of people who don’t have the xbox one who want halo 2 anniversary. There are people who would buy it for both. it only makes sense to make it on both. you will make more money that way. and you would make a lot of peole happy if you do make halo 2 anniversary on both the One and 360.
Well first of all the game would be on 3-4 discs and the way the lobby system works you would have to switch discs after almost every game, meaning the game wouldn’t start for ages because everyone would have to change their discs, second the graphics, maybe Halo 2A would run on the 360 but 1080p 60FPS? no way… Why would anyone buy an Xbox One until Halo 5 if the 360 had Halo 2A, the whole point of TMCC is to bring the Master Chief’s entire journey onto one console, The Xbox One in anticipation for Halo 5, including all original multiplayers, if baffles me how people still find things to complain about, the Xbox 360 is almost ten years old, it’s time to upgrade, I will be getting an Xbox One in October, can’t wait for TMCC!

At the end of the day, Gorilla, a game is only hindered if it comes out on inferior technology, even if it’s developed for both.
I do not have a One but I am extremely keen to play Halo 1-3 again. If I had heard it was coming out on both consoles, well, I’d know it was coming out inferior to what it could have.
At some point you will get a One right? When you get one the Master Chief Collection will be that much better for you to experience, no doubt about it.
Because Microsoft need to sell Xbox Ones as they are lagging behind Sony at the moment. What better way to do that than to have your premier franchise re-launced on the XBox One? It’s worked on me, I plan on getting an XBox One just to play this
No main Halo game has ever launched on a last-gen system. All Halo games have originally launched on current-gen systems.
This is true, but Halo 4 was painfully close.
1- 360 does not support 1080p at 60fps.
2- Halo2 anniversary is only available on the MCC.
3- Multiplayer switches between Halo1-4 depending on the playlist and is possible because of can be played on 1 blue-ray disc. 360 can’t do that.
There is your answers. 360 is getting phased out as developers, including 343i, do not want to limit themselves to inferior tech to support both platforms.
You got a little over 4 months to save $480, or whatever currency you use, to get it. You have 5 and 27 days to save that much if you want to get into the Halo 5 beta.
My opinion: Start saving if it bothers you.

Exactly. These are the people they’re hoping will buy an Xbox One, and this is just the game to do it.

Basic economics. If you want to sell your product, people respond to incentives.
