Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer lag

I do not know if this is a known issue, but it is one that effects a lot of players.

I’ve tested out the Halo TMCC multiplayer, and putting the search-time aside, I’m experiencing a lot of lag on the Halo 2 Anniversary maps. It doesn’t seem like it lags on the other game maps, like halo 3 or Halo 2 (not anniversary).

But it is very irritating. The shots doesn’t seem to be counted correctly on any of the Maps either. But it’s for the most part noticeble on Halo 2 Anniversary. Where you can shoot a guy a couple of times, and doesnt loose any Health, where you can be shot , or shoot someone ones in the leg, chest etc, and they instantly die.

Pleas fix this issue as soon as possible, as it makes Multiplayer unplayable a couple of times.

Ps. This is not ment as an hate thread for 343, so keep your hate elswere

Excuse my bad English, I’m not from the US or any English spoken contries.

This is happening because the dedicated servers aren’t always hosting games while they fix stuff, and in this case MCC falls back to peer-to-peer (P2P) networking, i.e. one of the players in the match is technically hosting the game on his Xbox. This can increase the odds of lag, shots not registering, etc. Played a game earlier where I hit “melee” three times before I actually swung my BR…

It’s frustrating, but the alternative is no games at all. Once everything is (hopefully) fixed the games will be back on their servers again.
