Is it just me or is Halo 2A lacking a lot of multiplayer content? There’s only 7 maps, a few game modes and barely any armor customization, the game feels like an afterthought that 343 forgot about which is a shame because it’s the best modern Halo multiplayer game, the game deserved better and it has been forgotten again but now on PC since the release of Halo 3.
The game hasn’t receive any content in years, atleast one new BTB and 4v4 map would have been enough. I’m really disappointed, the game had a lot of potential. I know for certain that 343 will ignore this post and things will continue to be the same for Halo 2A.
Anyways I just wanted to rant for a bit, thanks for reading.
It’s really no different than Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary when it first launched. As a matter of fact, that game has even less content than Halo 2: Anniversary with only six multiplayer maps being remastered and no armour customisation.
There is also nothing to suggest that additional content for the game won’t be available when Season 3 of the Season Rewards is available.

I think part of the thought was that as part of the MCC, Halo 2 classic multiplayer is still playable, so there wasn’t a need to revamp everything.
I’ve always thought that H2A multiplayer was pretty subpar, honestly. It has a Halo 5 feel without the mobility, the announcer’s voice is TERRIBLE, and everything is a little too lit and glossy.
I was more than happy enough with just the revamped campaign which is worth $60 itself.
