If 343 makes a halo 2 Anniversary, which I personally hope they do, what would you guys like Master Chief to look like? Halo 2 style, Halo 3 style, Halo 4 Style, or a different style entirely. Personally I like the new Halo 4 Armor and I wouldn’t mind it being in Halo 2 Anniversary. But what do you guys think?
No, not the Halo 4 armour. Every single visual in H2A should be true to the original game. No ripping models from Reach or Halo 4, please. Or audio, for that matter. Halo 2 was great as it was and H2A is supposed to be an improvement, not a downgrade.
How would the Halo 4 Armor be a downgrade?
It’s an ugly retcon/redesign and it’s not the iconic Halo 2 armour?
Just because the armor might look different, doesn’t necessarily mean that it downgrades the game feeling at all. I personally don’t mind how they make the mark VI look in halo 2: anniversary, but if they wanted to make the halo series seem more up to date or “canon” then it would make since that they replace bungie’s mark vi armor with 343’s mark vi armor. the difference with halo:CE anniversary and halo 2: anniversary is that master chief had mark v in the first game, not the second, so it made since that 343 just repolished bungie’s mark v armor considering that they haven’t made a version of mark v themselves, but since 343 has redone the mark vi armor in halo 4, and since master chief first wears the mark vi in halo 2, it would be more logical to replace the old mark vi armor with the newer, redone 343 mark vi armor in halo 2 anniversary. Just to make the “canon” portion of the halo games make more sense, rather than have master chief wearing two different mark vi armor’s

Halo 2 armor for Halo 2 would make sense right?
I liked both the Mark IV-style modifications to his armor, but the classic Mark VI is timeless. I just used a blend of Mark V and VI to create a “Low Res” Master Chief.
Speaking of visuals, Halo 2 was dauntingly creepy, and had intimidating beauty where the warzones took a calming appearance. Delta Halo was astounding when I seen it, and the Chief’s armor reflected best on that level.
I think 343’s Master Chief armor is cool and all, but honestly it’s pointless and I hate their weak explanation for the change. I don’t care what 343 says, my eyes tell me that the Mark VI armor in Halo2/3 and the armor in Halo 4 are NOT the same. I would have liked an actual reason in the story for the armor change, not some BS 343 gave us about nano bots or whatever.
The Halo 4 armor looks good, like I said, but the Halo 2/3 style is a little better in my opinion.

Then why don’t you just get a Sharpie and write “Anniversary” on your copy of Halo 2 and play that?
I believe they should have Halo 3 style, Master Chief does not change armor between 2 and 3!!

While it is true that they are the same armor, there are slight aesthetic variances between Halo 2 armor and Halo 3 armor. Why not Halo 2 armor with HD textures?
DOnt mess with it just polish it like they did in CE. Dont mix games.
