Halo CEA was a RESKIN, the changed f&^%ing nothing, just the graphics, WOOOOOOOOH.
A remake should be fresh and new, graphics don’t affect gameplay.
Search up CMT SPV3, CMT is putting the Halo 2 campaign in the CE engine (engine extended by the Open Sauce project), WITH NEW FEATURES like new weapons, they are adding new content to the original campaign like weapons (and extended with the same project) AND REBUILDING THE SILENT CARTOGRAPHER FROM THE GROUND UP (Search up CMT TSC Evolved), also extended by Open Sauce.
And yes, they did make the graphics better.
And I think it was Greg Hermann, in one of the Anniversary Vidocs, HE INSULTED PC GAMERS, I quote him “If you tinker with it, you’re gonna lose that magic”, and so they kept the gameplay the same.
I wonder why people still play Halo 1.
So anyways, lets talk about Halo 2 Anniversary.
If it’s gonna be a reskin, then okay, I’m done with this milking, if they put more than 5 brain cells of effort and try to REMAKE, then that would be cool.
Now, what we need in Halo 2A:
*NEW GAMEPLAY (Just make it feel different, Halo 2 felt different from Halo 1, try something else, like a new engine)
*New graphics (Well, it IS a remake)
*New weapons (Assault Rifle, Gravity Hammer, ask the community for ideas for BRAND new weapons)
*New vehicles
*The cut levels
*All the maps, including DLC and PC exclusives
*Sprint (to spice up campaign and multiplayer)
*Fully customizable controls (Don’t like the forced selections? Make your own)
*PC version (THIS IS UNBELIEVABLY IMPORTANT)
*Some Custom Edition maps (if you could bring in Extinction, that’d be great, but that map begs for a longsword, jet and scarab)
*A legendary ending (If chief just responds to Lord Hood at the end with “HALO 3 BABY!” I’d be satisfied)
*Don’t make the multiplayer a Halo 4 map pack.
*Most of all, REMAKE, not RESKIN.
