Alright so I know there are many forums and people talking about Halo 2 Anniversary and I just wanted to share with all of you Halo 2 fans Dark Hole Games opinion about Halo 2 Anniversary! So just keep a open mind and remember it is strictly our opinion and if you have your own (good or bad) feel free to post it here. Just please be mature about your post, I don’t want drama here. So I think they should keep it to the roots of Halo 2. Meaning all the guns, levels, and feel of Halo 2. No armor abilities, just new graphics. Halo 2 was/is the iconic game and if they make a Halo 2 Anniversary people are going to want it to feel like Halo 2 again!
I feel they messed up with Halo CEA multiplayer because they had all the Reach guns and made the pistol way to strong. But again that is our opinion and it made me lose respect for 343i. So I Hope they can step it up a few notches.
I just saw the small clip of what Halo 4 is going to look like and it looks amazing! I just got more respect for 343i after seeing that, but if they make a Halo 2 Anniversary they should really keep it to the Halo 2 feel like I said, but I have more respect for them now Way to go 343i
Halo 2 was the highlight of my 8-10 year old life, I regret nothing. And to be honest, I really just want them to put the game back out. No new graphics, just recreate the server, maybe print off more H2 disks (or make it an arcade game) and put it back out there.

I always had problems with the map packs on my 360 whenever I went to play it. A re-release disc with all the maps would be fantastic but it will probably be on the 720.
I hope if they do bring Halo 2 anniversary they should add in the deleted scenes.
Plus it would give 343i more time to create Halo 5 so they do not have to rush it and it could have its own multiplayer again like the old days

I personally think they should do with it what they did with CEA with the updated graphics overlaying the original engine with switchback fx. Given the release date, Halo 4 will have already come out, so the multiplayer content will likely be H4 gameplay with H2 inspired maps, which I for one am personally ok with. H2’s been done b4 fanboys so buy H2 Vista if u want H2 multiplayer otherwise stop complaining… tho it would be nice if sed multiplayer component has more than just a map pack of maps like in CEA. Instead do it more like what ODST was for H3, and give us all the maps from previous map packs as well as H4’s shipped maps IMO.
Restore the plasma pistol, restore Goldies, bring back curlbacks, and give me back bumper Hogs!
-The plasma pistol is sadly in it’s worst state in H2. Only the overcharge is used and the plasma pistol bolts look dull
-Goldies have been ignored for far too long: apparently deleted in H3 and completely replaced by Ultras. Desecrated in Halo 4 and replaced by wannabe gold Elites. I want crazy leaping gold Elites back! There were many in the Covenant once and there shall be again!
-Grunts all look the same. This is a conspiracy intended to mold them into vicious and ugly soldiers in the future. Their adorable appearance in Halo 2 must be preserved! Change their armor (or just make it more variable) and leave their face and skins alone!
-I hate parallel parking with the hog. I miss the bumpiness, heaviness (less overturning), and splatter capability of the CE hog.

I would love this but I would also love a remake like CEA as long as they kept the Halo 2 multiplayer and didn’t include Halo 4 multiplayer instead.
See you guys, the problem is they wouldn’t just do the graphics. They would add something to “enhance gameplay” like they did with CEA. 343i just needs to make a new server.
