im currently experiencing an issue on halo 2 anniversary mcc while plying with a friend, both on steam. Basically we are stuck together on the mission Oracle when the heretic flees behind that door and says his line.
At that point we crash and the games kicks us out and we restart again. We tried first with different graphics, then both old. Now trying all new. I hope it’ll go fine. Sadly this happens even on other levels before.
is there some kind of fix already for this? How can I report this to 343i? They say it’s very rare, but obviously it is not.

If you want to report to it 343i you can use Halo Support on waypoint. This will report the issue to the relevant people to investigate and hopefully fix.
Halo 2 Anniversary has been pretty buggy for Co Cop campaign, not sure if anyone has a fix for this yet.
Halo 2 Anniversary campaign is a buggy disaster, especially with regards to co-op. I had this same experience with a friend of mine; we ran all the campaigns in MCC but Halo 2 crashed on us at least 15-20 times. None of the other games had this problem. The crashes got worse and worse starting with the Arbiter missions, and probably peaked with Delta Halo. We restarted The Oracle at least 3 or 4 times due to crashing. There is no fix but if you want to complete the missions then you’ll just have to continually restart after crashing.

That’s sad but my friend found out like other people managed to do: like trying to smash every time both the space bar to skip the scene. I hope it will work for us too xD
May I ask you if it is known to be the same achievement of halo 3 in the mcc collection, where you have to be in 4-coop, legendary difficult and skulls activated?
It gets the same problem even on the last cutscene of the level right before the boss fight. Even worse I guess. How can. They say “it someone else will get the same issue, will start a process to fix it” while I can see posts dated 2 years ago already?
