And if they released it this year or the next, it wouldn’t be an anniversary. An aniversary would be in 2014 where it is 10 years of Halo 2, right?
Dang, didn’t think about that. Oh well, I guess it’s something else then.
Just because it hasn’t been ten years yet doesn’t mean that they won’t announce Halo 2 Anniversary. Could just be something simple, like some dude saying, “Hey guys, we’re going to make Halo 2 Anniversary!”
But for now, I’m just going to stand neutral and wait until tomorrow.
Sounds unlikely, I’d just expect something on a lower scale, a reveal of Spartan Ops, 10 minutes of Campaign footage & Halo 2 Anniversary announced all at once?

I thought he meant they were going to show or tell us how they plan to bring new players up to speed. Considering the guy said he was playing all of the games before Monday.
I doubt if there is a Halo 2 Anniversary that they’d reveal it so early. I think they’d wait until 2013. They already have too much to talk about.
Unlikely at this time. halo 4 is their primarily concern.

Halo CE Anniversary was made to celebrate the next 10 years of Halo, not announce a remake of every game in the future.

Both CE & 2 are no longer playable online, while 3 & ODST, Reach & Wars all are.
No one announces a game 2 and half years in advance, let alone a remake.
Technically Xbox Live is celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary right now, and no game made that happen more than Halo 2.
If Halo 2 does get announced tomorrow I’d expect it to just be an HD port of the original, but with online play turned back on, achievements, and maybe we can finally get some online co-op. Much less work than what they did for Halo CE which means the game will be finished much earlier like maybe within the coming months especially if CA or Sabre have been working on it since they finished HCEA.
No to me not until VGA on Spike or at another Halofest. So we have until Fall/Winter till we hear any other news so prediction on the H2 Anniv. is late this year-next year. To me too early to reveal any H2.
I personally don’t think so, but who knows. Last year I didn’t even think there’d be a Halo 1 Anniversary, so I’ve been wrong before 
It would be awesome but i doubt its gonna happen yet.
343 Is throwing everyone they have at halo 4 so unless they hire some other company to make it its not gonna happen any time soon.

They will not put multiplayer in it.
If they did all the die hard nostalgic peoples would just play it instead of halo 4 and i doubt their gonna let that happen.
I think if they do a Halo 2 remake it will be for the next Xbox.
It is a good way to sell the new system until Halo 5 comes out.
I think it will have online multiplayer and will be a 1080p remake from the ground up to show off the new system.
But this is just my thought.
I hope a Halo 2 remake comes out, or at least Xbox LIVE servers because I can never get my xbox connect to work…

Exactly. And Halo 3 and ODST have great graphics, they won’t need to be remade come 2007 and 2009. Halo 2 is the last Halo game to have terrible graphics, I’d LOVE to see it all remade in Halo 4 graphics, that’d be something special! It’d make the campaign even more epic.
It’s a definitely possibility. I’m not against it, but there seems to be a high enough demand for it. I can see it having a Fall 2013 release, in between Halo 4 and Halo 5.
In a perfect world, I’d love to see it as an arcade title, with a remastered campaign and multiplayer separate from Halo 4, but realistically it seems like if a Halo 2 anniversary were to come out, it’d follow suit of CEA.
