343 next game
We can only hope that it will be everything that Halo 2 was before. At this point I don’t even want any more than that. Halo 4 was rather disappointing in some aspects.
Unfortunately, I never played Halo 2. So I’m hoping that they do make an anniversary edition that I can enjoy.
The epicness that humbly calls itself Halo 2 remains one, if not #1, of my favorite games ever, of all time.
343i has to make its anniversary!
Halo 4 was brillant but halo 5 won’t come until like 2014 so until then give us halo 2 anniversary in 2013. 2014 at a push
I’d rather Halo 2 rest in peace than let 343i get their hands on it and completely ruin it.
If Bungie wants to remake it I’d be all for it.

As much as I want to disagree with you I can’t you are completely right. I would hate for them to ruin it. I wish just like almost everyone that has played Halo 2 online they could port the multiplayer onto arcade or even charge $60 for it I don’t care as long as they don’t change anything. I am certain more people would play it online than they would play Halo 4. I don’t think I can express how much fun Iv had with that game everything seemed perfect. The “bad” maps on that game seem amazing now when you compare them to Halo 4 maps. The simplicity of the multiplayer was perfect with no jet packs and all this crap they added in reach and halo 4.
I can only hope IF they reamke Halo 2, they don’t screw it up. Halo 4 was so disappointing in so many ways as far as matchmaking goes, like who had the idea to allow people join a game already in progres? This is not CoD.
> Just because 343 will remake it, IT WILL NOT RUIN IT! Halo 2 is so epic, it can’t be ruined.

I have to agree. 343i did awesome with Halo 4 and Halo: CE Anniversary, but when it comes to Halo 2, I would like to see Bungie remaster it. I just love Bungie and how creative they are. I know they’re working on Destiny but Halo is their foundation.
I think Halo 2 should rest in peace. It was a good game, but I don’t think it should be remade.
Halo 2 wouldn’t be the same without its multiplayer. That was one of its main selling points.
Halo 2 with its original multiplayer + updated graphics and online coop campaign, maybe even with forge and theater? Yespls.
I can’t wait for it…Halo 2 anniversary will be awesome. IMHO 343 did an amazing job with CEA and I can’t wait to see the same magic applied to the game that got me into the franchise. That being said…forgive me if you think this is blasphemy but it really wouldn’t bother me if they only worked on the campaign…maybe went the way of CEA when it comes to multiplayer (ordinance drops and forerunner weapons on blackout…hell yeah!!). I mean, a good chunk of the multiplayer maps from H2 have already been incorporated into Halo 3, Reach, and CEA (also the forge pieces for 4)…even if they’re not 100% the same…the maps are getting kinda old.
Sadly 343 said over the summer or maybe even before that they do not have any plans currently to remake halo 2. I want it for the multiplayer because i didnt play it then but i did play campaign. Magical. And for people who don’t have it and want it, you can probably get it from Amazon.com or any gamestore for dirt cheap. its worth it, trust me
i know people say 343 are going to ruin it but i realy want to replay the epic campaign. i do miss the halo 2 multieplayer PS Halo 2 isnt dead it will never be. Epic Games never die

The campaign was actually the worst part of halo 2 and it wasn’t that bad just super accurate snipers on Legendary who could see through walls ( peeks around corner…Blam! dead )

I would say theatre, yes…but not necessary and rather than forge, I would say modern controller schemes (like bumper jumper ,boxer etc) not just the few choices of halo 2. these are only minor changes you dont want to mess with the best halo

Well, since Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary was your first game and you never played Halo 2, I will let that rather unintelligible remark go without a retort from me.
